I have started reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It is an award winning book and the trilogy has been made into award winning movies.
The Hunger Games is set in a dystopian future where each year people from the age of 12-18 are chosen to fight in a show called the Hunger Games. In this world-wide show people have to fight to the death and the last one standing wins. Katniss Everdeen and her family are preparing themselves for the reaping, when one boy and one girl from there district is chosen to compete, but things take a turn for the worst.
The Hunger Games is definitely a series to read, it is action packed, hooking and a page turner.

I love this series! Quite sad and has heaps of action and intense chapters. :)
