Mr Nobody's Eyes, By: Michael Morpurgo

This book is set during the war and the main character's name is Harry, Harry is a very curious boy who struggles in school and doesn't especially like his step-father or the new baby. He is just getting used to this different environment of living with his new family, there are so many strange rules and Harry doesn't often see his mother much, during these troubled times Harry befriends a circus monkey called Ocky and decides to run away with him. In the beginning living life on the road felt amazing, a new adventure but when everyone is willing to deceive them was living life on the road a good idea?

This book was a great read and for me it was very emotional, the way Michael Morpurgo wrote was very well written and when I read a lot of the scenery description I could see it very well in my mind. Once again it was a good read and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a sad but adventure(ish) book to read.
