Gone Series

A small town in California is suddenly turned upside down when everyone over 15 disappears. Cut off from the outside world, those left are trapped. With no help on the way foods running out and people are gaining mutant powers that nobody has ever seen before.

I have just finished the gone series and I could never put down the book. (Although there are some quite gruesome scenes) Each book has 400-500 pages but never gets boring. When you think the book is done just wait until the last chapter, then you will be begging your parents to get you the next one. 

I would highly recommend this book to anyone that loves suspense and mystery.
