I have just finished reading the Juno of Taris series, by Fleur Beale, a New Zealand author.
Juno of Taris is about a dystopian future, the story is set in a dome on a isolated island, where a few hundred people live. These people live unaware of what has happened on the 'outside', since they were evacuated a hundred years ago when earth began to self destruct. The story follows Juno who starts to question the islands many rules and what lies beyond their safe little dome. While trouble starts to stir on the island and between the people of Taris, Juno and her new born sister starts to experience super natrual abilities. As Juno learns how to survive through all the trouble, she finds new unexpected friends and new enemies.
I recommend this to people who like dystopian futuristic stories, or things to to with humanity and science stuff.
