Hello who ever clicked on this review,
Today I’m reviewing ‘She Not Invisible’ by Marcus Sedgwick (as you can tell from the title). In my opinion this book had a good story line and characters that were developed really well. This book is about a blind 16 year old girl named Laureth and her younger brother Benjamin. They traveled to America (without their mum knowing) to claim their dad’s note book but Laureth panics because she doesn’t know why is her dad in America. She’s worried that her dad is in trouble and goes looking for him.
This book had a interesting writing style because sometimes it will show the writing inside the note book or it will talk about coincidences and the number ‘354’. Personally I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would , this is probably because I thought that the story progressed to slow or as much action as I expected. The ending was also a bit of a disappointment to me. Maybe this book just wasn’t for me.
In a nutshell, I think book is good for 10-14 year olds who are interested in a mystery/adventure book featuring some maths/science and history.
